Discover tomorrow’s stars in the new collection of Limburg Foal Auction

After last year’s record-breaking edition, anticipation has been building for this year’s Limburg Foal Auction collection. As of today, the foals that will be offerend in the live auction on Wednesday the 25th of September at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre are available to discover on the website. This collection is packed with performance genes and promises to meet high expectations.

The new collection features 81 show jumping foals, sired by both proven and promising stallions. Among the sires are legends such as Chacco-Blue, Ermitage Kalone, Catoki, Diamant de Semilly, Balou du Reventon, Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, Carthago, and Uricas van de Kattevennen, whose offspring will be auctioned on Wednesday the 25th of September. Promising sires like Dutch four-year-old champion Pagani of the Paddocks, C-Jay Z, Onassis TN, Ansingh de Lis Z, Dinello, and Drummer 2000 TN also have progeny featured in this collection.

Outstanding performance families
Equally intriguing are the damlines, which add even more depth to this impressive collection. Fifteen dams have competed at a decent level in sport, such as Dreambrina (s.Verdi), who competed at 1.60m level with Thiago Ribas da Costa, and now presents her offspring Everdream EDC Z (s.Epleaser van ’t Heike). Three dams have already produced offspring competing at the highest level. For example, Hennessy van WW (s.Heartbreaker) is a half-brother of WEG showjumper Nelson van ’t Roosakker, while Monsieur du Buisson Z (s.Mosito van het Hellehof) shares the same dam as 1.60m level performer Dance du Buisson Z. Colt Catoki van de Eijkhof Z (s.Catoki) is a half-brother of the 1.70m level competing horse Zarkava Hero Z, and he is one of three foals from the renowned Roosakker line. This collection also includes the damlines of top level showjumpers such as Ilex, Beauville Z, Especiale, Con Dios III, Jaguar Mail, Diamanthina van ’t Ruytershof, Viking, Sapphire, Candy, Valentina van ’t Heike, and Van Gogh.

Online bidding
There’s every reason to explore this collection. In addition to in-person bidding, online bidding is also available. Pre-registration is required and can be done here. Two days after the traditional auction, an additional online foal auction will conclude, and this collection will be presented in the coming days.
