Donna Speciale, Cas and Donanso win classes in August

While more than 100 selected foals are eager to be auctioned in the Limburg Foal Auction on the 25th of September, it is a good time to look at successful horses that were sold through this auction in the past. In the month of August, the following horses achieved excellent international performances:

– Donna Speciale (Cavalier x Concorde, breeder G. Houtvast from Schimmert) 1st in the 1.50m class at CSI3* Bromont, 1st in the 1.45m Grand Prix and 3rd in the 1.45m class at CSI2* Rockwood with Leslie Burr-Howard (pictured)
– Donanso (Vingino x Manhattan, breeder H.K.A. van Dijck from Holthees) 1st with the Italian team in the Nations Cup competition of CSIO5* Gijon thanks to a nice 4/0 result on 1.60m level with Antonio Alfonso
– Aristoteles V (Padinus x Lux, breeder Sjra Vullers from Nunhem), 2nd in 1.50m class at CSI3* Bromont with Jonathan McCrea
– Cas 2 (Indoctro x Numero Uno, breeder Th. Tax from Blitterswijck) 1st in 1.55m class and 8th in 1.55m class at CSI5*-GCT London, and 1st in the 1.50m class and 8th in an other 1.55m class at CSI5*-GCT Valkenswaard, and 3rd in 1.50m class at CSI5* Brussels with Harrie Smolders
– Ginger Blue (Plot Blue x Royal Bravour, breeder P. Verberne from Sint-Oedenrode) 3rd in 1.45m speed class and 3rd in 1.45m on CSIYH1* Dublin and 2nd in the 1.40m class at CSIYH1* Brussels with Ben Maher
– Haranka (Captain Cooper x Colander, breeder F.A.G. de Crom from Someren) 1st in 1.35m class, 1st in an other 1.35m class and 2nd in a 1.40m class at CSIYH1* Wiener Neustadt and 8th in an 1.40m class at CSIYH1* Samorin with Zuzana Zelinkova
