High quality dressage foals at selection round Den Hout

Today, the Limburg Foal Auction organised the first selection round for dressage foals only. The host was Gert-Jan van Olst in Den Hout (Brabant province). Many high quality foals entered the ring although the list of starting order was not very long. No less than 10 foals, our of the 19 foals got selected for the Limburg Foal Auction. The collection now contains the following foals:

03 – Idefix, a stallion foal  by Chippendale out of a Flemmingh x Hemmingway mare. Breeder: Jacatra B.V. from Zuid Oost Beemster.

05 – Naamloos Pleyter I, a mare foal  by Everdale out of a Son de Niro x Ulster mare. Breeder: Maatschap Pleyter from Zalk.

06 – Ivanovic, a stallion foal  by Everdale out of a Vivaldi x Koss mare. Breeder: A. van Straalen from Leerdam.

07 – Iris, a mare foal  by Lord Leatherdale out of a Negro x Monaco mare. Breeder: Van Olst Horses from Den Hout.

13 – Iluna Vita Nova, a mare foal  by Bretton Woods out of a Krack C x Ferro mare. Breeder: D. Frans from Wingene, België.

24 – Indione, a mare foal  by Johnson out of a Negro x Mataro mare. Breeder: A. Bergmans-Wagemans from Oisterwijk.

26 – Istlandale, a stallion foal  by Everdale out of a Rousseau x Welt Hit II mare. Breeder: I. Krutz from Ter Aar.

27 – Ike Geuzenhof, a nakomeling by Negro out of a Rubin Royal x Fruhling mare. Breeder: S. Maakenschijn from Chaam.

28 – Iluciene, a mare foal  by Everdale out of a Tango x United mare. Breeder: Fam. de Weert from Dreumel.

32 – Naam Onbekend I, a mare foal  by Everdale out of a Tenerife VDL x Flemmingh mare.

Including the foals that got selected today, the total number of dressage foals adds up to 15. There are currently 20 jumping foals that are selected.

Two more selection round will be organised. Monday July 22nd in Koningsbosch at Stal Bosserheide. This selection round is only open for jumping foals. And the last one will be held on Monday July 29th at Stal De IJzeren Man in Weert. This one is open for both jumping- and dressage foals.

The photo- and film day of the Limburg Foal Auction will take place on Monday August 5th in Weert.
